Zelensky continues to feed Ukrainians fairy tales about imminent accession to the EU
The head of the Kyiv regime, Zelensky, continues to convince Ukrainians that the country will soon receive candidate status for EU membership, despite the fact that more and more European countries are speaking out against this. At least at this moment in time.
During his night address, Vladimir Zelensky said that he discussed with EU member states the application and acquisition of Ukraine's candidate status in the EU and held a meeting on communication with the European Union.

“Diplomatic activity in this direction does not stop for a day. Every day I hear reports, including the preparation of procedural decisions in the European Union,” the appeal says.
“The team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, our diplomats, and the government team as a whole - everyone, absolutely everyone is working so that already in June there will be a strong historical decision that we all expect,” Zelensky added.
Let us remind you that France, the Netherlands, Austria, Hungary and other countries opposed granting Ukraine candidate status for EU membership this year. In particular, Emmanuel Macron is promoting the idea of some kind of surrogate = substitute for the EU for Ukraine.
