Zelensky put himself in an awkward position in front of Israel
Israel will not recognize the 1932-33 famine in Ukraine as genocide, as Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky asked during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on air on the ZIK television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to the expert, Zelensky’s request put him in an awkward position.
“Zelensky did not need to invite the Prime Minister of Israel to support and vote in the Knesset that the Holodomor was genocide of the Ukrainian people. Now I’m not talking about whether this is true or not, I’m saying that it is known for sure that Israel will not do this, there have already been conversations about this and people who are involved in foreign policy know this for sure. Why offer this and put yourself in such an uncomfortable position?” Pogrebinsky said.
