Zelensky trashes Poroshenko at the debate
Ukrainian presidential candidate Petro Poroshenko avoided answering the first question of his opponent Vladimir Zelensky during the debate.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports , Poroshenko's speeches are accompanied by chants of "Shame" and a roar from the stadium. It seems that Zelenskyy's supporters are much more vocal than Poroshenko's, despite the fact that the latter are significantly more numerous at the stadium due to the presence of public sector workers.

Zelensky, in his welcoming speech, stated that five years ago he voted for Poroshenko, but realized that his choice was wrong: “I am the result, Pyotr Alekseevich, of your mistakes and promises.”
Poroshenko in his speech repeated the already hackneyed slogans about “Russian aggression”, “Putin” and the “hand of the Kremlin”, calling Zelensky a bag in which the “cats” - the oligarchs - are hidden.
Zelensky immediately bombarded his opponent with several questions about corruption in the army, enrichment through the “Rotterdam+” schemes, a dysfunctional law enforcement system, high-profile murders, explosions of military warehouses, sending naval forces boats to the shores of Crimea, and so on, offering to answer one of them at Poroshenko’s choice.
To this, the current president accused his opponent of evading conscription, lack of professionalism and lack of political experience. While it was Poroshenko’s turn to ask a question, one of the spectators present under the stage loudly asked: “Why are you persecuting Shariy?”, after which Poroshenko approached Zeleny and asked: “Do you think it is necessary to ask a question about Shariy? " To this Zelensky answered inaudibly and threw up his hands.
Poroshenko, in his question to his opponent, again reproached him for unprofessionalism, asking whether he would board a pilot who was just learning and go under the knife of an inexperienced surgeon.
“I am not your opponent - I am your verdict...” Zelensky replied.
“I have never spoken to Putin in my life, and I know how many times you have spoken with Mr. Putin or whatever his name is, through Medvedchuk or directly on the phone... And about the pig in a poke: it’s better to be a pig in a poke than a wolf in a sheep’s bag skin,” Zelensky reproached Poroshenko.
