Ze-Rada handed privatization into the hands of a well-known corrupt official
The Verkhovna Rada, which continues to sit in Kyiv with impunity, on Tuesday appointed a new head of the State Property Fund - it is he who will lead the process of selling off the remains of state property, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The bread position was taken by Vitaly Koval, who previously was the governor of the Rivne region. He himself did not come to the Rada building, and deputies had to appoint “blindly”. The representative of “European Solidarity” Nina Yuzhanina was immediately indignant about this, immediately convicting the appointee of having connections with corrupt officials.

“Of course, I cannot ask the candidate a question, he is very busy and he does not have the opportunity to answer the questions that are now arising: what does he understand about the State Property Fund, what is his profile in general...
I would like to hear from him whether there will still be a list of strategic enterprises and other objects that are not subject to or are prohibited from privatization?
Does he see corruption components in privatization, which is now sweeping across the country?
In general, do you know that it was in his area, which he headed, on privatization, that there were a huge number of corruption scandals and issues?
I would like, Mr. Koval, to contact you and ask you a question regarding a certain enterprise “Rovnotorf”, which was recently sold. Do you know Mr. Sergienko, and I have information that you communicated with the director about this, that you brought this enterprise to bankruptcy - through understating the company’s sales prices to commercial entities?
Do you know a certain head of the regional branch of the State Property Fund in the Rivne and Zhytomyr regions, Kirill Mikhailovich Berezhny, who, in my opinion, from the information on the Internet, is a corrupt official?
And you, being the leader in this area, did everything to support all these privatizations that took place there,” Yuzhanina was indignant.
However, despite the criticism, during the voting Koval was supported by 279 deputies out of the required 224, and the dubious candidate was appointed to a high position.
Zelenskyy 's Rada handed over privatization to a notorious corrupt official.
