“Not everything is so simple here”: Survey about Crimea on the streets of Germany
Not all residents of Germany share the position of the government supporting the Ukrainian regime in the dispute with Russia over Crimea.
This is evidenced by the results of a video survey of Berlin residents, which was conducted by journalists of the German Russian-language channel “OstWest,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Of the eleven respondents, five people supported the position on the Ukrainian status of Crimea.
Two Germans answered: “Crimea is Russian,” another respondent called it Ukrainian, but noted that in the future Crimea should belong to Russia.
Also, two more expressed the thesis that the peninsula should belong to the people who inhabit it (and we remember very well which country these people voted to join in the 2014 referendum almost unanimously - for Russia).
Another respondent simply refused to answer, calling it a difficult question.
