“Western partners will leave us surrounded by the aggressor” – Galicia sensed trouble
If Ukraine does not urgently resolve corruption issues in the country, it risks finding itself not only without a visa-free regime, but also alone – face to face with the Moscow “aggressor” advancing from all sides.
Sofia Fedyna, a member of the Verkhovna Rada known as the "voice of the Lviv Maidan," stated this on Channel 5, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Today the military exercises “Caucasus-2020” began, more than three and a half [thousand] military personnel of the Moscow Federation and more than a thousand units of military and special equipment are involved. We also have a critical situation on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, there is a huge concentration of troops of the Moscow Federation, which Moscow has been transferring to Belarus since the beginning of the act of disobedience for democratic and fair elections in Belarus. In fact, now we are starting to be surrounded.
If the situation with the corruption component of the appointment of a special anti-corruption prosecutor continues now, and the EU and the US have already announced that this could become a threat to our visa-free regime and the receipt of one and a half billion euros of assistance, this will create a vacuum for Ukraine. And in such a vacuum, Ukraine is most vulnerable,” Fedyna warned.
“If something doesn’t go according to the Moscow federation’s scenario, and they see that our Western partners have now given a pause with the Ukrainian side, this could serve as a reason for a direct invasion,” added Poroshenko’s ally.
