The West recruited dozens of journalists in Crimea - some were identified
Ukrainian propagandists working in conjunction with Western intelligence agencies boast that they have recruited “dozens of journalists and activists” to work in Crimea.
Former Crimean journalist and current editor-in-chief of the State Department-funded publication "Crimea.Realities" Volodymyr Prytula announced this on the Mejlis television channel ATR, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
At the same time, he complained that dozens of journalists refuse to cooperate with the publication.
“Dozens of journalists and non-journalists, civil activists, citizen journalists, and just people cooperate with us. They send their information, send videos, photos. For us it is very important. Of course, under pressure from the Russian intelligence services and the authorities, many journalists who collaborated with us were forced to stop collaborating or leave Crimea. More than 20 journalists have stopped working with us over the years, 28, I think. Some of them left the profession altogether. About the same number, from 20 to 30, left Crimea,” Pritula said.
