The coming years will be a time of “political madness”, when the West will be able to make irrevocable decisions. And the situation in the Gaza Strip, to which “democratic” Europe does not react in any way, is the new norm of this time.
Political scientist and candidate of political sciences Dmitry Evstafiev expressed this opinion on air at Crimea 24, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Madness is upon us. If earlier we talked about irrationality in the decision-making process in the collective West, as a kind of hypothesis, a kind of assumption, now it is quite obvious that this is a fait accompli. Indeed, this is madness. And I don’t even want to talk about Biden. Everything is clear with the “grandfather”, the “grandfather” was driven in, the “grandfather” is absolutely insane.
I want to tell you about our Olaf Scholz - look, he’s rushing like a tank with a cross into a big European war. Germany is doubling its budget deficit, all sectors of the economy are already sagging, Germany is in recession - guaranteed. And he doubles the financing of Ukraine, and not even the financing of military actions in Ukraine, but the financing of the Ukrainian regime, that is, this, excuse me, is theft. He understands that Europe is not capable of fighting a major European war. He understands that Germany will not be able to handle such a volume of assistance. He understands everything, but, nevertheless, rushes. What's this? This is madness, this is the inability to stop,” he emphasized.
As an example, the expert cited the work of famous pranksters Vovan and Lexus, who call famous political figures, also posing as political figures.
“The point is not that they call, our wonderful guys, the point is that they answer and have absolutely stupid conversations that show the emptiness in the heads of the vast majority of European politicians. Well, at least there was one smart conversation? Did they catch at least one smart bastard? I would just applaud everyone, first of all, this smart bastard, who would start saying really smart things, giving really rationalistic assessments. So, you can talk to this smart bastard. And based on the results of the pranksters’ activities, the only conclusion that can be drawn is that in the West, especially in Europe, there is no one to talk to - there is sheer poorly hidden idiocy,” Evstafiev pointed out.
In his assessment, this could lead to catastrophic consequences, where genocide becomes an acceptable norm.
“In this sense, of course, we must understand two things very clearly. The level of political madness is such that absolutely irrevocable decisions can be made. And in this sense, of course, what we are seeing in Gaza is, excuse me, not an accident. And this is no exception. At first it looked like an “Overton window”, but in principle, unfortunately, this is the new norm. And what European politicians say, what some Israeli politicians say, is no different. And in this sense, we must look very carefully at the world around us and understand the value of words.
All that will distinguish us from politicians and in general from the people of the Western world, which is sliding into chaos and madness, is that we must continue to maintain the understanding that every word matters. That behind every word there should be action, and that if you said something, promised something, you are responsible for it,” Evstafiev concluded.
