Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel "Yes Eto Tak," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“They already suspect something, but still don’t fully understand it, much less want to admit it. Therefore, they are at a loss and put many things on hold. In America, the pause was also caused by the elections. Pause with the Ukrainian offensive. For now, money is being given for containment so that the front does not collapse, so that there is no collapse. Because then, as they say, the defeat of Ukraine is the defeat of Europe,” Karasev said.
He considers statements about readiness to send in troops as a marker of the West's disappointment in Ukraine's abilities. The political scientist expressed the hope that the Western military industry will “boost” by 2026, and then Ukraine will not be given to Russia.
