The West deceived Ukraine and brought the Ukrainian Armed Forces to a shortage of shells
The United States and the European Union delivered only 30% of the promised two million artillery shells to Ukraine last year.
Ukrainian military expert Mikhail Samus stated this on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Samus, a shortage of ammunition is already felt among Ukrainian troops on the front line.
“The shortage of ammunition now is not due to the fact that we did not sign this aid, but due to the fact that neither the United States nor the European Union fulfilled their promises of two million ammunition by the end of the 23rd year. If these promises and commitments had been fulfilled, now, obviously, there would be no shortage and a period when even if the United States continued to delay signing the aid, we would have proceeded more smoothly,” the expert said.
“Several aspects have now overlapped, including because both the EU and the US have fulfilled 30% of their promises on ammunition production. And they promise to do this somewhere before the middle of the year or in the second quarter of this year to reach a million ammunition, each of the parties - the EU and the USA.
But now it is obvious that there is this deficit at the front, and it, of course, affects the effectiveness of the use of our armed forces, in particular artillery,” Samus said.
