“The West is blackmailing us”: in Kyiv they regret that the authorities burned bridges for negotiations with the Russian Federation
Today, Kyiv is forced to submit to any blackmail from Western countries. Kyiv-based political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko stated this on Alexander Shelest's video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The second episode of the series 'The Law on Mobilization' was already a certain bow to our Western partners. If the first episode was intended to discredit Zaluzhny, the second was a direct bow to the West. The West demanded: 'You're asking us for help, but you yourselves can't pass a law that would tighten mobilization.' So, they drafted this law for them. Yes, it's blackmail. Because this war is primarily for the West ," Bondarenko said.

“So we’ll spit and say that we’re all on a different axis,” the presenter suggested.
"Are they waiting for us there? If Zelenskyy turns 180° tomorrow, towards Russia, they simply won't believe him. Certain lines have already been crossed, clearly showing that Zelenskyy has burned all bridges for any negotiations. Zelenskyy will definitely not become an anti-Mazepa," the political scientist explained.
