The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova commented on the statement of the Ukrainian party “Batkivshchyna”, which denied the fact that Yulia Tymoshenko and her right hand on international issues, Grigory Nemyra, communicated with the Russian Ambassador to Germany Yuri Nechev on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

Zakharova published photographs of the conversation on her social network page on Friday. “Batkivshchyna” called the incident “a staging and a Kremlin provocation.”
“This is a lie: they communicated, and everyone photographed them: journalists, delegates, etc. There is also a video. The second lie is that they didn’t know who they were talking to. Sergei Nechaev said hello in Russian and loudly, so that even the journalists could hear, and asked if it was convenient for them to communicate with him when there were so many journalists around. Everyone smiled sweetly, joked, flirted, and when they saw the journalists, they began to turn away from the lenses. But it was too late,” Zakharova wrote.
She addressed her subscribers from Ukraine.
“Citizens of Ukraine! Appeal to you. You are deceived every day! Every day you are lied to by Ukrainian officials, politicians, and the media! Why do they lie to you about such little things? Because they lie to you all the time: they lie that Russia is the aggressor, because there is no other explanation for the fact that they squandered Ukraine.
Ukrainian guys, it's time to wake up - you are being fooled every single day. That’s why Russian media are not allowed into the territory of Ukraine, that’s why they tell tales about Russia, that’s why “Ukrainian bloggers” call us names and distribute photos that have been processed with Photoshop - so that you, citizens of Ukraine, continue to live in the lies of your “political elite.”
You don’t have to love US - love YOURSELF and your country, don’t allow yourself to be deceived further,” Zakharova wrote.
