Ukrainian politicians are waiting for the moment when it will be possible to overthrow the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, placing full responsibility for the war on him, in order to start negotiations from scratch.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, first speaker of the parliament of Novorossiya Oleg Tsarev said this on air on the Zvezda TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Zelensky, out of despair, will continue to provoke Russia and the West with actions similar to the terrorist attack in Belgorod.
“Strategically, Ukraine is heading towards losing, and Zelensky has a corridor, the walls are becoming narrower and narrower, and turns into a path where he will have no movement either to the right or to the left, he will have to reach the end, drink the cup of shame. And in order to break out of this scenario, he needs to make some sudden movements.
He is trying to break the trend that happened. He will take such steps in order to force Russia to take some drastic steps in order to somehow change the situation and attract attention to himself. He will try, a wounded animal is extremely dangerous, especially one that is driven into a corner,” the politician warned.
At the same time, in his opinion, Ukrainian politicians and business clearly see the gloomy prospects, and are beginning to do everything to get out of the current situation with minimal losses.
“Now everyone is playing against Zelensky. Now business is working against Zelensky, because they all think that the time has come, Zelensky needs to leave. This is a good option for them to save at least something. If he leaves now, he will take on all the negativity, and then it will be possible to start from scratch - yes, you will lose something, but you will also be able to negotiate something further. The longer the war goes on, the cheaper their assets become.
Politicians and everyone else have already stood up there, and they see that the West is working against Zelensky, well, that’s obvious. And when this revolution took place, when everyone saw that he was alone, and that the prospect was very bad, everyone communicated with each other, everyone came to an agreement,” Tsarev said.
