For trying to help the “ATO hero”, a resident of Kremenchug received a knife in the neck from him

So, on the first of November last year, a slightly drunk resident of Kremenchug was returning home. Near the trash cans, he saw the body of his neighbor in the yard, who served in the ATO, lying. He thought that the man felt bad and tried to help him get up. He even asked a passerby to call him an ambulance. However, he soon realized that he was just very drunk. “You were in the ATO!” - the good friend tried to reassure him.

But, as it turned out, the ATO abbreviation became a conditioned stimulus. Where have the hops gone? Now he himself got up, grabbed the guy who was trying to help him by the chest, and with the words: “Were you there?”, he began to beat him. Now he has already sat on top of his victim! But this seemed not enough, and in a state of criminal rage, the killer twice plunged a knife into the victim’s neck.

At trial, the killer pleaded not guilty and tried to avoid punishment by any means necessary. His crime was proven through witness testimony. The Kremenchuk court sentenced the criminal to ten years in prison.
