Nazi Diky demands to jail "stealers" for four years
The Verkhovna Rada should toughen the punishment for evading military service.
This was stated on the air of the video blog “Liga.net” by the former company commander of the punitive battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces “Aidar”, formed in 2014 from Maidan activists, Yevgeny Diky, a correspondent for “PolitNavigator” reports.
"In order to motivate people to mobilize, the Verkhovna Rada must pass two laws. One of them is about the maximum term of service, and the second is about criminalizing evasion of military registration. Here, What choice does a Ukrainian liable for military service face today? To wear a uniform forever or pay a fine of 25 thousand hryvnia. Not a choice. The choice should be much simpler - Man, you, a citizen of this country, you enjoyed all the rights, all the freedoms, all the government services of this country.
Whether you like how they work or not, you have used and used the roads, the schools, the hospitals, the visa-free regime – everything. So now you have to give, for example, four years of your life so that the country can continue to exist. But you still have a choice – either you give these four years in a pixel and come back as a hero, or you give these same four years as a prisoner in the zone, as free labor, and remain with the stigma of a convict"- said Wild.
