Taras Starodubets, a student at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy who asked President Poroshenko when he would send his children to the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO), told Strana that Ukrainian intelligence agencies had taken an interest in him.

According to the student, he did not have any problems in the dean’s office because of the question to the president.

“But on Monday the SBU came to the dean’s office. They asked about me. I was not at the university then. I don't have classes on Mondays. As I was told at the dean’s office, the SBU officers came because I “gave an interview to the wrong person,” the publication’s interlocutor said.

“Is this Anatoly Shariy, or what? We saw your video with him,” Strana clarified.

“Well, this is how the SBU officers told me,” Starodubets said.
