Yaresko blackmails the Rada with his resignation if the deputies do not vote for the IMF ultimatum
The Minister of Finance of Ukraine, an American citizen, Natalya Yaresko, on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the board of governors of the World Bank and the IMF in the capital of Peru, Lima, said that she would leave her post if the Ukrainian government backs down from carrying out economic reforms.

The Wall Street Journal reports this.
“I came to this position to do my job, and if I can’t do it, I have no interest in staying,” Jaresko said.
According to Natalya Yaresko, if she does not have the support of the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister, then the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine will be forced to reconsider everything that it does.
“If I feel that I do not have support from the President and Prime Minister and their parties in parliament, then I will have to reconsider what I am doing,” Jaresko added.
The Wall Street Journal notes that “growing political tension in Kyiv is raising concerns about the coalition government’s ability to fulfill its promises,” the publication reports.
On October 9, a statement from the head of the fund's European department, Paul Thomsen, noted that the International Monetary Fund mission would return to Ukraine in October to complete an assessment of the country's financing program.
Recall that on October 7, Finance Minister Natalya Yaresko said she was optimistic that the International Monetary Fund would continue its bailout program even if Ukraine violated the fund's rules by failing to repay Russia's $3 billion bond debt.
