“We don’t expect it, we are sure of it, because we need it as quickly as possible so that all this evil spirits from all over the world do not come to us. Therefore, the anti-terrorist operation will continue, and I hope that this phase, the movement of troops to the east, will be more effective,” Yarema said during a briefing.
“For a more peaceful solution to the issue related to the elections, today active actions on the part of the Ukrainian army and law enforcement agencies were suspended so that residents of the eastern regions could get to the polling stations and vote. At the same time, the readiness of the Armed Forces was at a high level, we have completely blocked that part of the areas where terrorist organizations are located, and in the near future the active phase of the anti-terrorist operation will continue,” he said.
He also expressed hope that fighters of the territorial self-defense units “Donbass”, “Azov” and others will coordinate their actions with the ATO participants.
As Navigator reported, Petro Poroshenko said that the main task for the near future is “to end the war, chaos, unrest, and bring peace to a united conciliar Ukraine.”
