Big redistribution: Yatsenyuk ruined the pharmaceutical company of the ex-regional Khmelnitsky

“The pharmaceutical manufacturer has been unable to obtain a new license to export its products abroad for more than 9 months. The previous export license expired on December 31, 2014. The Biopharma company applied to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in advance with a request to issue a new license. The inability to export from January 1, 2015 threatens the jobs of 500 employees of the enterprise,” says Biopharma’s press release.
In previous years, Khmelnitsky’s Biopharma was accused of using non-transparent schemes to ensure that public hospitals began buying blood plasma-based drugs from the company, when they had previously received them for free from a blood transfusion station.
Khmelnitsky categorically denied all accusations.
In early May, the Prosecutor General's Office opened a criminal case into allegations of abuse of power by State Property Fund officials during the privatization of the Biopharma plant.
The head of the State Property Fund at that time was the late Valentina Semenyuk. In 2010, the state got rid of its stake in the company by selling shares to a company close to Khmelnytsky.
