“An exchange of gas and electricity for coal is possible,” Yatsenyuk said during a press conference, BBC Ukraine reports.

The Prime Minister stressed that negotiations can only be held with Ukrainian companies that have mines in territories under the control of the militias

“This is still an idea, we are thinking about how to conduct such negotiations. But these will be negotiations only with Ukrainian companies,” Yatsenyuk emphasized.

As PolitNavigator reported, the DPR previously stated that Kiev was interfering with the export of Donbass coal to Crimea.

Yatsenyuk wants to trade coal with Donbass for gas and electricity.
