“I gave birth to you, I will kill you”: Zelensky’s fate is in the hands of Kolomoisky
If the Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky decides for some reason to refuse to support Vladimir Zelensky, despite high election ratings, the comedian’s political career will quickly end, and the election campaign in Ukraine will result in the victory of Yulia Tymoshenko or the re-election of Petro Poroshenko.
Kiev journalist Vladimir Skachko shared this opinion on the YouTube channel “Topinform”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“If Kolomoisky does not pour the full amount of money into Zelensky, he will become a gimmick, a bogeyman, a freak, a jack-in-the-box, and he will leave. And then Petro Poroshenko and Yulia Tymoshenko will clash in a duel,” the publicist said.
Skachko suggested that candidates Petro Poroshenko and Yulia Tymoshenko have approximately the same chances of winning, but none of them will bring anything good to Ukraine.
“At the moment I cannot say which of them will win. According to my data, it’s 50/50. But this is both pockmarked, a plague on both of your houses,” the journalist concluded.
As a reminder, Verkhovna Rada deputy Serhiy Leshchenko previously stated that, according to recent sociological data, Zelensky is becoming the undisputed leader of the election campaign.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleh Tsarev claimed that oligarch Kolomoisky initially launched Zelensky into the elections as a technical candidate to ridicule Poroshenko, so the comedian's rapid rise in popularity was unexpected.
“There was an agreement that Zelensky’s role was to shoot down and ridicule Poroshenko, so that Yulia would not be involved in black PR, without being drawn into a war with Poroshenko. To be criticized by others. And suddenly this is the situation with Zelensky. He’s number one,” said Tsarev.
“Now a lot depends on what Igor Valerievich decides. Which of the options? This is to offer Yulia the position of prime minister or remove Zelensky,” the ex-deputy added.
