President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky should not have given verbal orders, but personally arrived in Donbass on the front line to lead “enemy officers” to inspect the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian propagandist and Russophobe Yuri Butusov said this on the Iceland YouTube channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Let us recall that after it was announced that an inspection of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with representatives of the DPR was being carried out, Butusov published provocative calls on the Ukrainian army to open fire on his blog.
“You cannot carry out criminal orders. Therefore, the person who tomorrow will liquidate Major General of the RF Armed Forces Ruslan Vakhitov (meaning the head of the DPR representative office in the ceasefire JCCC Ruslan Yakubov - ed.), as well as other Russian officers - participants in the “inspection” of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, organized by order of the president, will deserve honor and respect in the history of Ukraine. Such an act will reliably frustrate all these operetta attempts to “look into the eyes”...
Anyone who disrupts the “ceasefire” and is persecuted by the authorities will, without a doubt, receive the full support of civil society,” the provocateur wrote.
As is known, the inspection was disrupted as a result of additional, vague demands put forward at the last minute by the Ukrainian side.
The media also suggested that the reason could be such calls and subsequent doubts of the Kyiv leadership in their ability to control the situation.
“The presence of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine is a war crime,” Butusov said. – Therefore, in this post I spoke in accordance with the norms of Ukrainian legislation and acted as a defender of the Constitution and those decisions that are contained in the legislation on Russian aggression in Donbass; we have a separate law adopted. This law does not provide for joint inspection of Ukrainian troops by representatives of the aggressor army. This is prohibited by law."
“With my post, I saved military personnel from criminal orders that were sent not in writing, but orally from the Office of President Zelensky. That is, the Office of the President is not responsible for its actions,” he added.
“That is, what should have been the procedure: the Supreme Commander-in-Chief believes that the Ukrainian troops should be inspected by the Russian general, then he, as the Supreme Commander, signs a written order about this. This is his authority, he goes to the East, takes that general by the hand and conducts an inspection of the advanced positions. That is, he takes responsibility for his decision.
Instead, we see some strange publication in the office, calls to the JFO headquarters, but what does this correspond to, the charter of the armed forces? No, this is not provided there. And what law, the law on occupied territories of 2018? No, it contradicts. On what basis do you force members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to violate the legislation of Ukraine,” the propagandist argues.
He also cynically stated that calls to destroy the “occupier” are not a crime.
“Therefore, in order to prevent these criminal actions that could ruin people’s careers and lives, I wrote that if the Office does not take responsibility for calling a spade a spade, then I call a spade a spade, I am ready to answer for it.
I'm here in Kyiv. If there are claims from law enforcement agencies, in this case I would like to be recognized as a violator of the law and suspected of what laws I am violating by demanding to destroy the Russian occupiers. If they show me a law that prohibits this, to destroy the aggressor, then I am ready to answer for this in court,” Butusov boasts.
