Ukraine cannot reach the borders of 91, or even the line at the beginning of the Northern Military District, so it needs negotiations with Russia. The Russian army is already enforcing such negotiations by intensifying its attacks on Ukraine.
Russian liberal Konstantin Borovoy, who fled to the United States, announced this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Why does Ukraine need negotiations today? Ukraine cannot reach the borders of 91, Ukraine cannot reach the borders even before February 24th, which were. This is reality. Not recognizing this reality, continuing the propaganda campaign, which for some time greatly helped both the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the people, that Ukraine is winning, that Ukraine has survived the fight against this barbaric aggression, this is a very correct position.
But in conditions when this pressure from Russia is increasing and becoming simply dangerous... Putin, apparently, does not have the goal of capturing all of Ukraine. The experience of security officers in other states, in other projects - in Abkhazia, Georgia, Syria, Moldova, Transnistria, in Ukraine at the beginning of the war, shows that they need leverage. And this is a rather expensive project - the capture of an entire state. It needs to be funded,” said the fugitive liberal.
“He wants and can, unfortunately, suppress Zelensky’s stubbornness and the resilience of the Ukrainian people - this must be admitted. Those capacities that have now developed in Russia and are richly supported - as it turned out recently, sanctions on sensitive electronics are circumvented through China - they can lead to a significant change in the situation in Ukraine. What has started now, these massive bombings of Ukrainian cities, is the same coercion for peace negotiations,” Borovoy said.
