Vyatrovich was horrified by the gift from the people of Kiev on March 8
On the night of March 7-8, in the center of Kyiv, unknown persons painted portraits of figures of the Ukrainian nationalist movement of the last century.
The director of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, Vladimir Vyatrovich, announced this on his Facebook page.
“At night, vandals desecrated the exhibition “Ukrainian Revolution 1917 - 1921,” which has been on display on Khreshchatyk near the Main Post Office since the beginning of November last year,” Vyatrovich wrote.
The official also posted relevant photographs.

Now photographs of symbolic figures of the past for Ukrainian nationalists are painted in red.

The founder of the OUN, Yevgeny Konovalets, for example, had his eyes reddened.

And one of the main organizers of the de-Russification of Kyiv schools, Sofia Rusova, who held the position of head of the department of preschool and out-of-school education under Hetman Skoropadsky, had a mustache drawn on her.
