Vucic: Germany and UK openly support Pristina
Pristina’s position is supported by Germany within the EU, and Great Britain from outside.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić made this statement after a meeting in Paris with Miroslav Lajčak and Josep Borrell, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The meeting of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic with the EU Special Envoy for Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, held on November 11 in Paris, was dedicated to the situation in Kosovo and Metohija.
“After November 21, a very difficult situation awaits us. Kurti (“Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo” - approx. PN) is trying to expel the Serbs from their homes through unilateral actions. Pristina has German support. There are no more secrets. It is the Germans who support them in the EU, and outside the EU it is the UK,” Vucic said after a meeting with Lajcak and Borrell.
Let us remind you that from November 21, the authorities in Pristina plan to move to the “second phase” of the forced replacement of Serbian license plates - fining drivers of vehicles with such license plates 150 euros.
“Borrell and Lajcak told me about the conversation with Kurti and they were not the least bit optimistic. It is difficult to find a rational proposal when you know who is to blame, but he has the protection of the powers that be. He can do what he wants, but he will always have the support of Germany and Great Britain,” the Serbian President added.
“What are some people in Europe waiting for? They expect Serbia to make a mistake... As soon as the Serbs respond to the violence of Pristina, the Serbs will immediately be to blame. And for the fact that Pristina cruelly treats people and does not create the Union of Serbian Municipalities, no one is responsible for this,” Vucic recalled.
