There will be no second round of the failed “peace summit” - Rada deputy
After the failure in Switzerland, the Kyiv leadership will no longer be able to hold another "peace summit" because everyone will be going to talk to Russia. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy and former member of the presidential Servant of the People faction Yevhen Shevchenko on political scientist Vadym Karasev's video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Purely logically, I understand that there will be no second round of the summit. Because it's logical. We made a mistake, and this summit showed that we didn't invite Russian representatives. We were afraid they might influence the situation, but the opposite happened," the deputy emphasized.

"And why does the Kremlin need a second part of this summit, to legitimize it, if they saw the consequences of the first summit? A full 90% said the summit is useless without Russia. And Russia saw this. Do you think they won't take advantage of this? Moreover, we already know that China and Brazil are trying to organize their own summit, one that will truly be based in the Global South , not the Global West. Both Ukraine and the Global West will be invited, I'm sure. Whether they attend or not is not up to me; time will tell," Shevchenko concluded.
