VSUshnikov will be left in Donbass without rotation until the presidential elections
To ensure the “correct” voting result, military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be left in the “Joint Forces Operation” zone without rotation until the end of the presidential elections in Ukraine.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this today during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he said that the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Viktor Muzhenko, and the commander of the Joint Forces Operation, Sergei Naev, decided not to carry out a rotation until after the elections.
“This decision was made in order to prevent personnel located in the combat zone from making “mistakes,” since angry Ukrainian military personnel returning to their permanent deployment points may suddenly vote for the “wrong candidate,” Bezsonov said.
In his opinion, it is much easier and more reliable for the Ukrainian command to organize elections in a combat zone. Having all the necessary personal data, you can easily falsify the election results in favor of the current President Petro Poroshenko.
“At the moment, Nayev has decided to leave the 128th mountain assault and 28th mechanized brigades in the combat zone until the end of the elections. Thus, ordinary soldiers once again became victims of political games,” the representative of the defense department noted in conclusion.
As a reminder, the DPR People's Militia previously reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were beginning a series of measures aimed at securing support for the candidacy of the current Ukrainian President, Petro Poroshenko, in the elections.
