The Russian Armed Forces have made significant progress in the DPR and are now driving wedges into the Ukrainian defense.
This was stated on the NTA television channel by the former company commander of the punitive battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Aidar" Yevhen Dyky, as reported by a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".
“Our defenders and defenders are simply running out, and we see it now, this is not some kind of prospect. Just yesterday and today, the Russians in the Donetsk region have made great progress. If we said that Avdiivka was like a wedge in the depths of the occupied territories, and they pulled out this wedge, now it’s the other way around,” said the former punisher.
“Now they are already driving wedges into the depths of our defense and this becomes more and more risky. When I talk to people who are directly there, they tell me about two key problems. Lately, people have been talking about shells much less than about the fact that there are physically no people,” Dikiy said.
