The Ukrainian military has been shelling a DPR settlement located near the demarcation line throughout the day.
This was reported by the press service of the DPR representative office in the JCCC and in the negotiation process, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The first attacks were recorded early in the morning:
“5:45-6:20 – n.p. Zhovanka – n. Zaitsevo: 36 mines of 120 mm caliber were fired, 2 shots were fired from a BMP-1, heavy machine guns and small arms were also used,” the JCCC reported.
The shelling did not end there. Already in the afternoon, the Ukrainian Armed Forces again opened mortar fire on the populated area.
“At 12:40, enemy armed forces again opened mortar fire in the direction of Zaitsevo, firing more than 20 mines of 82 mm caliber. The enemy also uses RPGs and AGS. According to the head of the Gorlovka city administration, as a result of shelling, a house at the address was destroyed by a direct hit. Poletaeva, 183, outbuildings at Poletaeva, 185 burned down,” the press service noted.
As a result of the shelling, according to preliminary information, civilian V. Shvydkoy was seriously wounded in the neck at the address: st. Artemovskaya, 38.
3 residential buildings were also damaged.
Please note that the shelling is currently ongoing. The enemy uses 120mm mortars - more than 20 mines were fired.
