The Armed Forces of Ukraine shell Donbass for a demonstrative picture in the Ukrainian media
Each visit of representatives of the Ukrainian media to the ATO zone is accompanied by new shelling of the territories of the people’s republics. After these journalists’ stay in Donbass, new “fake stories” appear every time – about shelling of Ukrainian territory allegedly by the DPR.

The Deputy Commander of the DPR Armed Forces, Colonel Eduard Basurin, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The largest number of attacks over the past 25 hours was carried out from the direction of Avdeevka, where units from the 72th Airborne Brigade arrived on rotation. This suggests that the “flag of genocide” of our citizens, raised by the XNUMXnd mechanized brigade, continues to be supported by the Ukrainian paratroopers.
At the same time, Ukrainian journalists do not understand that with such “fake” and staged filming, with a level of professionalism similar to that of a junior group in a kindergarten, they are, first of all, discrediting themselves. They continue to increase the flow of false information given to citizens of Ukraine. In addition, foreign journalists who are currently working in the area of responsibility of OTG Donetsk are actively involved in preparing reports,” Basurin said.
Also, foreign journalists who arrived in the ATO zone are taught “Ukrainian censorship” - what picture to show and what to say in the frame.
“And in order for stories to comply with Ukrainian censorship, special classes and courses are held with journalists, including foreign ones, before receiving accreditation. They sign papers on the mandatory compliance of reports with the imposed requirements, on the exclusion of broadcasting the criminal actions of Ukrainian security forces on the front line,” said Basurin.
According to a representative of the DPR defense department, the viewer will never see in the Ukrainian media information about the non-combat losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are available to the republic’s intelligence:
“It is thanks to such courses that the reports do not include information about an infantry fighting vehicle in the 72nd Infantry Brigade near Avdeevka that burned down the day before, due to the low level of professional training of personnel in matters of equipment maintenance. Or about another shootout staged between servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Nazis from the Aidar battalion. The cause of this clash was a conflict between Aidar member Igor Krechet and the commander of one of the companies of the 53rd brigade. So to speak, Krechet decided as a farewell, before the end of the rotation of the 53rd brigade, to take revenge on his offender.
The Ukrainian news will also not show how servicemen of the 28th mechanized brigade in the Novotroitskoye area are urgently mothballing mortars in order to, upon the arrival of OSCE representatives, thus conceal their use when shelling our positions and populated areas.

During the verification process, there are cases of confiscation of funds and personal belongings from military personnel, allegedly for the purpose of conducting additional checks. Our intelligence has all these facts, they are also in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but they are silent about them in Ukraine,” summed up Basurin.
