The armed formations of Ukraine are already anticipating the outcome of the battle for Seversk, and therefore they are gradually withdrawing their formations, but the units of foreign mercenaries remaining in the city are ready to fight to the death.
The participants of the broadcast on the Russia 1 TV channel spoke about this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The main fortification is Seversk, but now, according to the data from there, it is clear that everyone understands the outcome. Now there is some resistance, but at night they continue to leave there. Most likely, there were either hours or several days left before the capture of Seversk, and then the road to Slavyansk would be open. Everything is going according to plan,” said LPR Ambassador to the Russian Federation Rodion Miroshnik.
At the same time, military correspondent Evgeny Poddubny reported that it is near Seversk that a large number of foreign mercenaries are now concentrated.
“Ukraine is now a magnet for Russophobes and neo-Nazis around the world. Units of the “Foreign Legion” are now concentrated near Seversk - these are citizens of Belarus, Georgia, Poland, the USA, Great Britain, other European countries, and a huge number of neo-Nazis from South America. Russian special forces fighters periodically identify the positions of these formations and strike,” Poddubny said.
Note that previously Miroshnik spoke about the clock count before the capture of Lisichansk. Then the city was liberated literally within a day.
