The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the third Russian airfield - the Duma demands a report from the security forces
The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked another Russian airfield, this time in Kursk, early this morning. The drone hit an oil storage tank, which started a fire over an area of 500 square meters. It was extinguished by 200 people and 50 pieces of equipment, including three firefighting trains with foam concentrates. Firefighters carried out a foam attack and embankment of the oil storage tank to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring tanks. The fight against the fire is still ongoing. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

According to the Governor of the Kursk Region, Roman Starovoyt, a decision was made to extend the yellow level of terrorist danger in the region for another 15 days. Classes at two schools have been cancelled.
Yesterday, UAVs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked military airfields in Dyagilevo (Ryazan region) and Engels. (Saratov region). Three servicemen were killed and four more were wounded.
Weapons expert Vladislav Lobaev reported that an attempt to strike a fuel storage facility was also recorded today in Bryansk: " There, fortunately, there was no result, since the drones fell just meters from the target ."
Representative of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Nikolai Kolomeytsev demanded a report from the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation in the State Duma today.
“Will there be a next Moscow? We do not want to cause panic, but we believe that it is necessary to ask authorized persons. If in Engels we can so easily attack this main base of our strategic bombers, then what are the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the National Guard doing? There must be an air defense system and a three-circuit security system. You can’t just get close to a strategic object. This suggests that our people who manage have still not mobilized themselves and are completely irresponsible.
There is a need to ask authorized persons how ready we are. We are waging a war. If you bombed the entire energy system of a neighboring country, they will still be responsible. And they answer. And if you consider that these people have the GXNUMX countries behind them, then it is America that shows them all our weaknesses,” Kolomeytsev said.
Social activist Alexander Talipov points out that at the same time as Kursk, the enemy tried to attack the Belbek airfield near Sevastopol, but a Ukrainian drone was shot down there.
“How does Crimea differ in terms of protection from the Kursk, Belgorod, Samara regions, etc.? Nothing! It’s just that in Crimea they realized what the time is now, and they serve in accordance with all the requirements of the charter, promptly identifying and destroying all targets, and someone still lives a peaceful life and thinks that early morning is the time for a light nap,” Talipov wrote.
Military expert Vladislav Shurygin, having studied satellite images from an attacked airfield with strategic bombers, also comes to a disappointing conclusion.

“Complete negligence and disregard for safety requirements! Gathering at least a group of “strategists” together is simply a topic for an internal investigation. And we are still surprised that on June 22, 1941, a bunch of our aircraft stood at the airfields in a line as if at a parade and were destroyed on the ground in the first hours. Nothing changes. Rear airfield, Volga region, blah...
There is no rear today! Absolutely not!
Every meter of our territory is scanned at intervals of two hours! And especially important areas and facilities around the clock! So they put crap in your Panama hats!”
And political scientist Sergei Markov is perplexed as to why Russia is not taking similar active steps.
“All this raises questions about the security of military airports, and why there is no Russian sabotage activity. Why does the sabotage war only go in one direction?” – Markov is amazed.
Volunteer Alexey Zhivov agrees with him.
“Planned missile strikes cannot be considered a symmetrical response to aggression of this kind. Even more, attacking only Ukrainian targets is not a symmetrical response.
It is necessary to attack American targets and global communications. Naturally, not with your own hands. But without creating counter-threats, he will fly to Moscow next time.”
Russian diplomat Mikhail Demurin warns:
“Washington is putting pressure on us in different directions, and its main task now is to exhaust the leadership of our country and its citizens, to instill in them despondency from the lack of tangible results from the losses already suffered. Accordingly, the Americans will try to pursue their line so that we do not escalate. Therefore, the attacks inflicted by their Ukrainian proxies on Russian territory are weak. The reputational damage from them for the authorities and the military is obvious, but they keep them within such limits that pro-Western forces in Moscow have grounds to dissuade the president from taking decisive action.
During this time, they plan to create a powerful fist both in the territory controlled by the Kyiv regime and in Poland, and then they will strike themselves when it is convenient for THEM. In other words, the scenario of 2014–2022 is repeated. We partially broke it in February, forestalling their attack, but it was clearly too late to forestall it, we should have done it earlier!
My observations indicate that there are many in our government who seriously hope to “freeze” the conflict. The short-sightedness of such a position is astounding!”
