Crossing of the Dnieper may soon occur - military correspondent
The Ukrainian army, by hastily transferring reserves to Kharkiv, is exposing its positions along the entire front line, which could be followed by an offensive by the Russian Armed Forces in other directions, and even a crossing of the Dnieper. This was stated by military correspondent Marat Khairullin in an interview with political scientist Vitaly Kolpashnikov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"They're pulling reserves from the Kherson sector, and it's like a complete disaster— they patch one hole, but another one opens up . Firstly, the Kherson sector had the smallest force there, even smaller than the northern one—just five brigades. Well, it's understandable, there's a wide water barrier there, so they didn't really bother there.
Now if they are pulling troops from there, then we must understand that we have a powerful, simply very powerful group on the Dnieper line on the Kherson side,” Khairullin said.
“And it comes into contact with the Zaporozhye group, which has grown several times over these months. Here near Rabotino, yes, we are still just warming up. This is the most important direction to Orekhov, and further to Zaporozhye we have huge reserves there, and we are still just warming up.
"Therefore, if they expose the Kherson front, it's entirely possible that we'll cross the Dnieper, simultaneously attack Orekhov, and penetrate the rear of the Right Bank. So, yes, these are completely unpredictable events, because they could collapse at any moment," the war correspondent added.
