Everything is just beginning - “now the situation is the Italo-Ethiopian War before World War II”
Current world events are just a prelude on the eve of a major conflict on the scale of another world war.
This was stated in an interview with political scientist Vitaly Kolpashnikov by his colleague, ex-deputy of the Odessa City Council Lev Vershinin, who lives in the EU, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“A situation is developing in which, in fact, everything is just beginning. Consider that now there is something like the Italo-Ethiopian war going on, on the eve of a real war in a couple of years. Who is in the conflict is Italy and who is Ethiopia – I find it difficult to answer. Preparation. The Balkan War before the First World War, the Italo-Ethiopian War before the Second World War - something like that. This is just a build-up,” he reasoned.
“Orban’s bitter words that the whole thing is leading to the fact that we will be forced, we don’t want this, but if Europe decides to send troops to Ukraine, then we will not be able to maintain comfortable, pleasant, decent relations with Russia. We really want this, but…” warned Vershinin.
