Ukraine's balance of payments is in deficit. The deficit is $890 million. In Ukraine, not only exports, but also imports of goods have fallen. In January 2013, Ukraine’s balance of payments was in surplus by $397 million.

In addition to the fall in the export of goods, the export of services, which always covered the foreign trade deficit, also began to fall. These are, first of all, gas transportation services.

In January 2013, the financial account of the balance of payments had a surplus of $538 million, and in January 2015, a deficit of $547 million. This is evidence that large sums of money are being withdrawn from Ukraine.
