Volodin forbade deputies from discussing the status of Crimea in the State Duma
Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin believes that Russian deputies should not discuss the statement of White House representative Sean Spicer about Washington's expectation of the return of Crimea to Ukraine.

“Let us stop talking, discussing various statements regarding Crimea. Crimea is part of Russia. Any talk regarding the alienation of our territory is an attack on our integrity. There is no need to raise this topic. Some press secretary said something. Listen, someone else will say,” Volodin said.
The speaker advised US President Donald Trump to fulfill his election program.
“The election program must be carried out. The election program said: settlement of relations with Russia, China, cessation of hostilities, fight against terrorism. When the election campaign is carried out, everything will be fine,” Volodin said.
On February 14, Spicer said during a briefing that US President Donald Trump “has made it clear that he expects the Russian government to de-escalate violence in Ukraine and return Crimea.” At the same time, as a Trump administration official added, the US leader “fully expects and wants to get along with Russia.”
Volodin banned deputies from discussing Crimea's status in the State Duma.
