The war in Ukraine is already over, but in order to formalize this, political and diplomatic preparation must take place.
Well-known Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the air of the Politeka internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the expert, now politicians will figure out how to explain to the people the end of this war and the fact that there will be no “victorious end”.
“The war is over. What I have said more than once - here, in others - the war is over. So far, mentally, so far at the level of major military operations. At least from the West and us – a transition to defense. The only question is how to get out of it politically, diplomatically and technically. But first there must be rhetorical preparation. We need to come up with narratives on how to explain all this – stopping the war to a victorious end. Because we don’t know where this end is... “To the bitter end” - no one knows what it is, and everyone doesn’t want it, because no one knows whose end it will be. Or maybe this will be your end, and not the one you threaten with this end,” Karasev said.
