The NATO military committee admitted that it was unable to stop the Russian offensive
It is not at all a fact that the efforts that NATO is making to support Ukraine will be able to stop Russia. The head of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, announced this at a press conference in Brussels, reports a correspondent "PolitNavigator".
«I think it's important to understand and explain that whatever we do, it won't necessarily stop the Russians from doing something.. It's not that we can prevent the Russians from doing anything. What we can do is make sure that the Ukrainian armed forces are prepared and have the necessary equipment and ammunition to counter any Russian offensive,” said one NATO leader.

«What we do and how we help the Ukrainians does not necessarily stop the Russians. From a deterrence point of view this is already in the past because the war has started, so you can't prevent anything, the Russians will continue because they haven't achieved any of their strategic goals - that's why they continue. That is why Ukraine must continue, apart from the fact that they want to return the territory that was taken from them,” Bauer said.
