Farion is reported to be in serious condition. There was an assassination attempt on Masaryk, 3 – he was shot in the temple. A large stain on the asphalt indicates significant blood loss. Neighbors saw the shooter; he was wearing gloves and holding a weapon without a silencer. The nationalist was taken to the hospital on Topolnaya.

The attempt was later confirmed by the Lviv region police.
“On July 19, at about 19:30, on one of the streets of Lvov, an unknown person fired a shot from a weapon towards a 60-year-old woman. Doctors hospitalized the victim with a head wound. Investigators, operatives, and the leadership of the Lviv region police are working on the spot. Measures are being taken to identify and detain the shooter,” Lviv police reported.
The event was commented on by political scientist Sergei Markov.
“Irina Farion is ultra Russophobic, to the point of caricature. She, going crazy with Russophobia, insulted the soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who speak Russian. Considering that even among the Russians there are Banderaites, fascists, it is obvious that Banderaites, some Azovites, shot at her. Showdowns among Russophobes of different shades. Farion is not a politician, she has long been a clown with eyes bulging from madness,” says Markov.
Farion was seriously wounded by a gunshot in Lviv – not in the ear, but in the head.
