In Lvov they intend to destroy the grave of the legendary Soviet intelligence officer
The Lviv memorial “Hill of Glory,” on which the grave of the famous Soviet intelligence officer Nikolai Kuznetsov is located, must be demolished as a “Soviet temple.”
The head of the Peter Bolbochan Foundation, nationalist Yaroslav Sveleba, stated this on the local TV channel “First Western”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today they are trying in every possible way to preserve their so-called islands of propaganda. We see what the situation was in Kharkov, what the situation is in other cities, where they preserve their Soviet temples, where they bring their children and say: “These are our heroes, they fought with Bandera.” They also need to have these temples in Lviv,” says Sveleba.
At the same time, the Ukrainian nationalist set the “civilized nation” represented by Germany as an example.
“We must learn from civilized nations. Germany should be an example for us, which carried out denazification, which, in fact, cleared its cemeteries of swastikas. Do you know how many swastikas and Hakenkreuzians there were? They cleaned everything there. There are people lying there, soldiers of the Wehrmacht and other formations, but there are no swastikas, stars or the like,” Sveleba noted.
At the same time, in his opinion, the grave of intelligence officer and saboteur Nikolai Kuznetsov, who fought against the German occupation and died at the hands of UPA militants, should be destroyed without taking into account the opinion of the hero’s relatives.
“I believe that whether there is a family or not, this monument needs to be torn down. Do you want to have an examination? Place these remains somewhere in a museum, preserve them, fill them with concrete and write: “Anti-Ukrainian saboteur.”
It is important for me, as a Ukrainian, that this temple does not exist, and these remains do not interest me; they will be given away or they will rot in the storehouse of a historical museum,” said the neo-Nazi.
As a reminder, on the night of March 3-4, the 30-meter stele of the Glory Monument "To the Victors of Nazism" was finally demolished in Lviv . Its dismantling had been initiated back in 2017.
