In Lvov they hope that Xi will stop Putin in exchange for Taiwan from Biden
It is possible that at the planned meeting between the presidents of the United States and China, White House President Joe Biden will offer Chinese leader Xi Jinping to leave Taiwan alone in exchange for his influencing Russian President Vladimir Putin on the Ukrainian issue.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vladimir Ohryzko stated this on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“What if Xi Jinping responds by saying, ‘Okay, I’m ready to stop Putin in Ukraine, but I need Taiwan’?” – the presenter suggested.
“It could be an option entirely. And this is also an issue that is on the agenda in their bilateral relations. However, there is a simple answer: the formula that operates today is one China, but two systems. And it stipulates that China shows tolerance to the fact that Taiwan lives by its own rules, and the Americans support the thesis that we are talking about one China, but with two different systems of life and governance. And this, of course, can be a normal compromise, which, in fact, was discussed earlier,” Ogryzko answered.
However, the diplomat complained, Beijing's policies are much more complicated.
“However, when China begins to impose its [demands] not only on Taiwan, but also on other countries around it, begins to create tension in the South China Sea, when it begins to build islands there and change the situation in military-political terms, then the Americans will not respond to this.” they cannot react, because then very serious interests are affected. There are very important trade routes through these waters, and the Americans cannot allow China to begin to control them. Then this will affect not only trade, but also security.
Therefore, I think that there will certainly be a need to look for compromises, that’s what diplomats are for, in order to find the right formulas and satisfy both sides. And I think that in this case the United States will not retreat, because they fully justifiably believe that the status quo that has developed in the region that you mentioned is adequate to the situation and does not need to be changed.
What will happen in 50 or 100 years will be decided by other leaders and other generations. Today, what exists balances the situation and does not make it explosive. Actually, it seems to me that such a line would be absolutely acceptable, including for China. No one objects that Taiwan is its territory, so to speak, but de facto this will mean that China will not interfere there, at least for now,” Ogryzko suggested.
