Influential Americans do not believe in Ukraine’s victory – Stetskiv
In the United States, there is an influential movement of politicians and analysts who oppose the transfer of weapons to Ukraine and do not believe in its victory over Russia.
Taras Stetskiv, a member of the Verkhovna Rada of five convocations and a field commander of the "orange" Maidan, stated this on the NTA television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Stetskiv, the real dynamics of arms supplies to Ukraine raises questions.
“On the one hand, the Germans themselves agreed to give us tanks and gave the go-ahead for the transfer from third countries. And then it turned out that they didn’t even have two battalions of tanks in combat-ready condition. And this is 62 units. We need to repair it quickly and do it. And the dynamics actually do not satisfy our political leadership, both Danilov and the president of our country speak about this quite openly. And to a certain extent, there are explanations for this,” the politician said.
“Without denying at all the general strategic decision in favor of Ukraine, we must understand... I don’t take Europe, the situation there is even more complicated, but both in American politics and among American intellectuals there is a fairly influential movement that believes that there is great doubt that Ukraine will defeat Russia militarily, even if America gives everything that Ukraine asks.
And these people speak accordingly in the American press, write analytical reports - this is not only RanВ Corporation, there are many other analytical centers that serve the State Department, and they say that Ukraine cannot win, it is too weak, Russia is too strong, resources hers is orders of magnitude stronger, so we need to look for some points of contact, some lines of compromise. I won’t say that the American official line accepts this point of view, but it is obvious that these influences exist,” Stetskiv said.
