The Kherson authorities want the right to execute on the spot - like in Stalingrad
The Russian army in Kherson must repeat the heroism of the defenders of Stalingrad. Deputy Governor of the Kherson Oblast, Kyrylo Stremousov, stated this on the Crimea 24 television channel, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the official, under martial law, emergency rules should be introduced, including executions on the spot.

“I observe, see and understand that today we are not just trying to make, as we say, Stalingrad from the city of Kherson... We have every opportunity, every chance. It’s just necessary to finally start making decisions, and not engage in politicking, chatter, and throw out this bureaucracy. It is necessary to make specific decisions, up to wartime laws and execution on the spot, both for looting, and for lack of decision-making, and for irresponsibility for the dead guys who today defend not just the borders of Kherson and the Kherson region, but the borders of the Russian Federation,” said Stremousov.
Moscow political scientist Sergei Markov agrees with the assessment of Kherson as Stalingrad.
“Kherson is like Stalingrad. The right bank of the great Russian river, the steppe. We all hope that the Battle of Kherson will go like the Battle of Stalingrad. That the Ukrainian Armed Forces, this proxy army of the occupier of Ukraine, the United States, will be surrounded near Kherson and defeated. Just as the fascist Wehrmacht was defeated, the fascist Armed Forces of Ukraine will also be defeated. And after that, the Russian army will liberate Nikolaev and Odessa from occupation,” Markov wrote on his blog.
