Kyiv, April 01 (PolitNavigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – The DPR government literally took steps in just a week that immediately bore fruit, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent from Donetsk.

In particular, the ruble was finally introduced as a second currency - today, in all stores and markets, consumers can freely pay in both hryvnia and Russian rubles.
The DPR government nationalized two retail chains - ATB and Amstor. ATB is now called the 1st Republican Supermarket and clearly focuses on Russian and local goods, although there are not enough of them yet and the shelves are empty. What will happen to Amstor is still unknown.
Finally, communication with Lugansk has been established - now a train runs between Yasinovataya and the capital of the LPR three times a week, the ticket for which costs a penny. Until recently, residents of Novorossiya had to be content with the only Etalon bus; the fare was four times higher than by train.
The authorities have finally organized the possibility of making money transfers from Russia to the DPR. Considering the blockade on the Ukrainian side, for many residents this service will become a lifeline.
The transformation affected not only the socio-economic sphere. At the same time, a decree was announced in the DPR and LPR on the disarmament of all persons who are not employees of law enforcement agencies. Violators face severe punishment, including liquidation. This is a very important measure that will contribute to the final evolution of the militia into the army, and will also help in maintaining law and order.
Based on the suddenly intensified work of the DPR leadership, we can conclude that the republic received directives to make the most effective use of the possibilities of the truce, which could end any day.
