Wine under the Inkerman brand will be produced not in Crimea, but in Ukraine
Kyiv - Sevastopol, June 13 (Navigator, Viktor Orlov) - The owner of the Inkerman winery - Dnepropetrovsk millionaire Valery Shamotiy - announced the possibility of transferring part of the production capacity from Crimea to mainland Ukraine in order to maintain sales on the Ukrainian market.
The businessman said this in an interview with the Ukrainian newspaper Capital.
“We do not intend to lose the Ukrainian market,” said Shamotiy.

“Ukrainian customs simply will not accept Russian-style documents for drinks produced on the peninsula. Ukraine considers Crimea its own, but occupied territory,” the publication explains the producers’ motives.
Previously, the Crimean vodka company, which produces Medoff and Mernaya vodka, transferred its vodka bottling capacity to the mainland.
Let us recall that in August 2013, Belarus canceled the decision to issue a certificate for the supply of a batch of four types of wines from the Inkerman plant (Sevastopol) to the country due to non-compliance with GOST.
