Veteran of Rukh: Participants of the Sabbath on the Maidan are to blame for the blood in Donbass (VIDEO)
Kyiv, September 09 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The fact that there is a war in the Donbass and blood is being shed is primarily to blame for the Maidan and the power generated by it.

Larisa Skorik, people's deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the first convocation, former member of the Central Committee of the Rukh, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.

“The tragedy that Donbass experienced began with the fact that it did not want to live with the power that came on the shoulders and cries of the Maidan,” she believes. “And those who brought this power, at the same time galloped to Europe and shouted “Moskalyak to Gilyak.” Donbass did not want to be with something like this. And I didn’t want to be with something like that. I think most people who realize that it is impossible to build a state on hatred understand that this was the only thing that could happen after this whole Sabbath took place.”
She also called for round tables on conflict resolution to be held with the participation of Donbass.
“And these should not just be representatives of public organizations, but also people who today represent those who are indiscriminately called “Colorados,” “separatists,” or even worse,” Larisa Skorik clarified.
She concluded her speech with a slightly modified quote from Taras Shevchenko’s poem “And the dead, and the living, and the unborn”: “Ukraine has galloped to the very edge...”.
