Wasserman: It is useless to offer peace terms to the Kyiv regime - we will have to go to the Carpathians
The current terrorist government will never be able to recognize the rights of Russians in Ukraine , which means that the conditions for negotiations put forward by President Putin will suffer the same fate as the "Istanbul agreements," and there is no other option but to go to the Carpathian Mountains.
Journalist and State Duma deputy Anatoly Wasserman expressed this opinion on the air of the First Sevastopol channel , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"To this day, despite all the efforts of terrorists , the vast majority of Ukraine's residents remain Russian . According to Gallup, during peacetime, they accounted for five-sixths of the population: indirectly, by looking at the forms people filled out in different regions , it was established that in Ukraine, as in the Russian Federation, five out of six people used Russian in everyday communication . Now, of course, many regions that were practically purely Russian are now part of Russia.
But at least three-quarters of the inhabitants of the lands occupied by terrorists are Russian. And by all international norms, even minority languages are subject to protection, not to mention the language of the majority. Therefore, in general, this is not our demand, but a global one . And it is precisely the terrorists, who are determined to transform Russians into something anti-Russian , who cannot accept such a demand under any circumstances," the expert is convinced.
"So, I think this set of demands will suffer the same fate as the 'Istanbul Agreement' —the leadership of the terrorist organization Ukraine will refuse to implement it. This means we will have to liquidate this organization and completely liberate the lands it occupied, including Subcarpathian Ruthenia , that is, the western slope of the Carpathian Mountains."
"And then—of course, all these people will be granted the right to self-determination . But, as the experience of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions has shown, six months of life without terrorists is enough for these people to realize they are Russian and vote for reunification with the rest of Russia ," Wasserman concluded.
