Vakarchuk and Zelensky have gained electoral fat
On the eve of early parliamentary elections in Ukraine, the electoral picture continues to change - the pro-presidential party Servant of the People and the Voice of singer Svyatoslav Vakarchuk are strengthening, and old and discredited political forces continue to decline.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Ukrainian sociological group “Rating” from May 29 to June 3, 2019, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The leader of electoral support among political forces is the Servant of the People party, for which 48,2% of those who intend to go to the polls and have decided on their sympathies are ready to vote; support for this force continues to grow.
The five percent barrier to entry into parliament is overcome by “Opposition Platform – For Life” (10,7%), “European Solidarity” (7,8%), “Batkivshchyna” (6,9%), the support of which is slightly decreasing, as well as the party “ Voice" (5,6%), gaining points. 4,3% are ready to support the “Strength and Honor” party, 3,0% – “Civic Position”, 2,4% of respondents – “Radical Party”. The rating of other political forces is less than 2%, including the “Opposition Bloc” gaining 1,5% of support, “Freedom” – 1,2%. The Popular Front falls miserably into the electoral pit, gaining a paltry 0,3%.
The anti-rating of political forces is still headed by European Solidarity. Under no circumstances do 52% of voters want to see her in the next parliament.
47% of respondents emphasized that the main motive that will guide them when choosing a party during voting will be the ability of this force to bring changes in Ukraine. Another 30% noted that they would cast their vote based on the extent to which the political force can restore order in the country. Every fifth said that they are motivated by the fact that there are many new faces in the party, or that its representatives are able to defeat corruption in the country. For 14-15% of respondents, the main motives turned out to be that the party declares a course towards social justice, and also has a strong leader.
