In the Zhytomyr region, participants in military operations in the Donbass on the part of Ukraine during 2018 were given ownership of more than 3,5 thousand hectares of land, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The Main Directorate of the State Geocadastre in Zhytomyr Oblast reports this .
“In the Zhytomyr region, during 2018, participants in the ATO (JFO) registered ownership of 2393 land plots of state and municipal property. Land management projects have been approved for land plots with a total area of 3588 hectares,” the statement says.
During this time, participants in the fighting received more land for running personal peasant farming - 1 plots with an area of 809 hectares. For the construction and maintenance of a residential building, utility buildings and structures, the military was provided with 3 plots of land with an area of 533 hectares. Another 340 military personnel received land for individual gardening - 31 hectares.
In general, since the introduction of the initiative to provide land plots to “ATO participants” and as of the beginning of January of this year, military personnel submitted 19448 applications for the provision of land plots to the main department of the State GeoCadastre of the region and local governments. Based on the results of consideration of applications, the military was granted 10289 permits for the development of land management projects for the allocation of land plots with a total area of 11570 hectares.
In the Zhytomyr region, 3,5 hectares of land were distributed to ATO militants.
