Zaporozhye, January 05 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Amstor supermarket chain, which on December 31, 2014 announced an attempt to raid a number of stores in Zaporozhye, has closed.

According to the Vremya Novostey publication, after the pre-New Year's attempt to forcefully seize supermarkets, yesterday in Zaporozhye the work of supermarkets was paralyzed, since the Smart Holding company simply cut off the computer network of the stores.
“There is Amstor LLC, there is its managing partner Amstor-Trading, who has the goods, people, and all management at his disposal. And there is Smart Holding, which has a stake in Amstor, but is related only to the premises in which the stores are located. They provide premises for rent,” lawyer Maxim Geets, representing the interests of Amstor-Trading, explained the situation.
Today Amstor is closed in Zaporozhye, Berdyansk and Melitopol. There is a notice on the doors of supermarkets: “Dear customers! The work of the shopping center is temporarily blocked due to an attempted raider takeover by Vadim Novinsky's Smart Holding. We apologize for the inconvenience."
According to unofficial information, Amstor will not work until January 12. It is unknown whether stores will open after this date.
